Volunteering Christmas Bureau

Through our Sponsor a Family Program, the Christmas Bureau provides Christmas hampers to low-income families with children 18 years or younger, seniors 65 and older and persons with disabilities living on the North Shore.

Every year volunteers are needed to help at the Christmas Bureau.  Many volunteers in our community donate their time during the holiday season to help make the Christmas Bureau a success.

Volunteer opportunities involve: office duties, sorting and organizing toys, setting up and dismantling of the Toy Shop, assisting parents with gift selections in the Toy Shop, organizing and distributing hampers at the Hamper Exchange and driving to collect and deliver hampers.

You will gain the satisfaction of contributing to your community by helping others at this time of year.  Volunteering at the Christmas Bureau is an opportunity to meet others, work together and to gain organizational and communication skills.

Can you commit some time during the holiday season? Do you have good listening and organizational skills? Are you a compassionate person? If so, consider becoming a part of the Christmas Bureau volunteer team. Strength in cultural diversity is an asset.
